Close to beach and cafe. Shower was good. TV worked with streaming services.
No kichen sponges or fresh milk on arrival Second bedroom was uncomfortable - small beds, bed position prevented opening the wardrobe! 4pm check-in is quite late. Steep stairs, with no downstairs toilet. Garden was ok, but still being improved.

The cottage was cosy and so clean and despite having dogs myself to stay there, there was no doggy smell. Beds were super comfy, the most comfortable beds I have stayed in when away! There was an enclosed area for your dog at the back. The cottage was very close and in walking distance to the beach as well as a pub, cafes, fish and chip shop with a convenience store just across the road. It provided every thing you need.
The stairs are steep (which I had read on other reviews) they have very small foot treads so found myself going up sideways holding onto the bannister, so bear in mind when booking should you be slightly disabled or an elderly person, as there is only the upstairs toilet too. Parking is tight but I managed to get my Ford Kuga on.

The location was fantastic - a short walk to a beautiful beach and the property itself was lovely and very well equipped although the walls were somewhat paper thin and the stairs to upstairs are virtually perpendicular - fine for us but would be problematic for elderly guests or those with leg / hip injuries. It was also literally a 2 minute walk to the corner shop which was very handy.
The key safe is about 1 foot from the ground - really inconvenient.
There is parking directly outside the property but absolutely no warning that it is completely inappropriate for a big car (range rover) and it's a double yellow (for peak season) on a narrow street. If you stay in peak season god help you with parking if your car doesn't fit the driveway. It is clearly an issue and the locals are aggressive about it and just generally very unfriendly. So while the cottage was very nice and welcoming, the people weren't which really spoiled the holiday. Frankly, I couldn't wait to get home and although we absolutely love Norfolk, we will never stay in Sea (A)Palling again.
