The location is great. From the hotel you can easily get to all locations in Trier by foot.
Also the breakfast is above average.
We also got a gift when checking out which I do appreciate
The room had an open shower, so if you don’t travel as a couple be aware that you might be more exposed than you wish for.
Also, a few things were broken in the room (TV didn’t work, door had a gap) and you generally feel like there were no upgrades of the room since the 80s. Of cause I can only speak about the room we had, maybe other rooms were in a better condition.
We also struggled to connect with WiFi
