I felt really like home. That is the best filling what the hotel can provide.
The restaurant was overbooked that day's. Probably because it was good, but I couldn't check that by myself. That made me sad.

The staff is genuinely friendly. They allowed me to stay extra time when I got sick. Room is very clean and comfortable. The hotel has character. Very well run property which feels humane as opposed to faceless/impersonal international style. True German hospitality.
The restaurant is not bad but needs: 1. A shorter menu to focus on better quality ingredients and more precise cooking(they overcook the meat) 2. Give up from international hotel style sophisticated looking but outmoded presentations in favor of clarity and simplicity. Maybe the chef changed as Wilder Kaiser had a good reputation

Old, character and very clean
No air conditioning or ventilation system and very uncomfortable bed with the worst pillows ever
