Das Haus istt liebevoll mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen längeren Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und es stehen 2 Bäder zur Verfügung, was mit mehreren Personen sehr angenehm ist. Für die kühlere Jahreszeit gibt es 3 Radiatoren um die Räume zu beheizen, was jedoch auf den Azoren nur selten von Nöten ist.
Wir haben unterschätzt, wie abgelegen und somit auch einsam das Tal ist. Es führt ein Wanderweg zu einem Wasserfall, der recht steil und anstrengend ist und nicht unterschätzt werden sollte. Am Meer gibt es kaum die Möglichkeit einen längeren Spaziergang zu machen, da der Strand beidseitig von der Steilküste begrenzt ist. Um essen zu gehen, oder den Sonnenuntergang zu beobachten, muss man immer eine ca. 25-30 minütliche Fahrt auf der Serpentinenstraße bewältigen. Das hat mit dem Haus selbst nichts zu tun, man sollte es bei einem längeren Aufenthalt aber bedenken.

Property was spacious, comfortable and clean.
Well located for exploring Ponta Delgada.
There is parking on the street very close for €6 a day or there are large free carparks about 5 min walk away.

The property was clean and looked like it had been renovated not very long ago.
It was let down badly by the water flow in the bathroom (shower and basin) being a trickle. It was difficult to get wet. What I don’t understand is that the water flow to the kitchen sink was good. Why can’t the same be achieved in the bathroom. We stayed three nights and were given two coffee pods for the entire stay. We raised this with the host and we’re told the two were a taster! Most other places give you at least one pod per person per day. Am I supposed to buy a collection of pods for every brand of machine for my trip. The machine at this place took a different pod to most. The showe was the worst, I wouldn’t go back because of that.
