Propre, bien équipé et très bien situé.
Nous n’avions pas réalisé qu’il y avait qu’une seule chambre au deuxième étage et que les lits étaient séparés par de simples armoires.

This was a pleasant surprise as the town gave us things to do when we came back from exploring the area and the villa itself was its own character in our trip! The host was exceptionally helpful, friendly, and responsive.
The only struggle, and this is a general struggle in Europe during one of its many heatwaves, is that yes there is A/C and it keeps the top floor cold. But it struggles to help out with the rest of the house (which might be sleeping locations for some people on floor 2). Just FYI.

Emplacement idéal en centre-ville . Le box qui se situe à une courte distance du logement nous a permis de garer un petit véhicule ce qui est un avantage par rapport aux places de stationnement disponibles . La Mauricette a correspondu à nos attentes . Charmante maison de ville, très confortable , disposant de prestations intéressantes où l'on s'y sent bien . Calme dans l'ensemble . Notre séjour s'est déroulé très agréablement et Patrice est très précis au niveau de ses informations ou recommandations .
Petit-déjeuner correct : dosettes de café , sachets de thé fournis ce qui est appréciable quand on vient de loin . Nous avons complété par rapport à ce que nous consommons habituellement ! Nous n'y avons pratiquement pas cuisiné puisque nous venions rendre visite à la famille mais il y avait plus que le nécessaire

The property had plenty of character and was clean throughout. The kitchen was particularly well equipped, with a good range of utensils and equipment available for self-catering. The accommodation was spacious and provided ample sleeping capacity for larger groups. The location was also convenient for exploring the surrounding area.
We arrived after dark and found the written and pictorial instructions for accessing the garage difficult to follow, despite having two native French speakers in our group. We made several attempts to contact the host by message and phone but received no response, which made arrival more stressful than it needed to be. As there was no available street parking, we had to leave the car in a public car park overnight and move it early the next morning.
The shower on the top floor emitted a persistent sewage smell throughout our four-night stay. Although the check-in information advised running the water, the odour remained despite multiple showers.
While the listing does describe the room configuration, guests should be aware that some sleeping areas are separated by a curtain or a wardrobe rather than fully enclosed walls, which may not provide the level of privacy some groups expect.
Finally, we were disappointed to receive a message on the morning of departure stating that any review score below 8 would be considered poor feedback. Given the issues we experienced, this felt inappropriate and placed undue influence on the review process.
