Tried to overlook my frustrations but we spent a lot of money to stay here. We had property stolen by staff 50 dollars worth, food was served frozen and we were mistakenly over charged for and over all a lack of care. Such a shame as this place has so much potential but sadly a lack of care by staff ruins the whole experience. Not all staff, some staff were trying very hard but peers let them down sadly.

Super. Les personnels sont très gentils, souriants, accueillants. Boat tour proposé est très bien. Le petit déjeuner en buffet très bon.
L'emplacement est vraiment pratique.
Quelques crochets ou étagères, tablettes...dans la salle de bain seront bienvenus pour ranger les affaires.

- vieles war deutlich “abgelebt” & stellenweise verdreckt
- in der Anlage wachsen Cashew-Bäume. Deren Früchte fallen runter und bleiben 2-3 Tage liegen. Wenn man unachtsam ist tritt man auf diese und sie beginnen zu verfaulen…
- die Parallelstraße der Anlage ist nichts anderes als eine Müllhalde. Deren Geruch ist permanent in der Anlage. (Für die Müllentsorgung kann im Großen und Ganzen wahrscheinlich nur das Land Kambodscha etwas, es ist aber wirklich widerwärtig)
- allgemein wird sich zwar um die Anlage gekümmert, aber trotzdem ist es schmutzig :-/
- die Auflagen der Strandliegen sind eigentlich aus Leder (schlau, da leicht zu reinigen), diese wurden aber nochmal mit Stoff überzogen, welche vergilbt und stellenweise sehr dunkel sind. Ohne Handtuch würde ich mich keinesfalls auf die Liegen legen.

The resturant, the scarlet sails team Lighting a bongore full off plastic right next to the reap rooms, the rooms thatclook like converted workers housing, non drains bathroom, lack of side lights in bedroom, lack of soap used to clean glasses, zero disinfectant used to clean tables, General run down nature of the so called 4 star hotel ive viseted better equipped prisons

The only think to like about scarlet sales is it faboulous location, it is on am absolubtly paradise beach with the best sand
One night plastic waste was burned with the smoke going directly into out room, poisonous black acrid smoke, the whole resort is beyonf needing some care, the resturant steel frame had rusted through, the pool has hundreds of missing tiles, in the resturwnt no soap is used to wash the glasses and plates at breakfast, ( other guests completed during stay) wasn't resolved the next day, the sunloungers are frequented by none resident the sunloungers are dirty, not enough pool towels for all guests, breakfast is poor, toaster with 2 used for hundreds of guests, not enough tables in the shade, shower where toilet is doesnt drain,
The cost at 40 euros per night and upwards is higher thab I would expect of similar offerings in Asia, light bulb not working on entrance fixed quickly though
Feel sorry for the great staff who have to work with terrible rooms and shared areas, wierd looking curtains hanging next to the gym,
Make faulty towers look like a 5 star hotel
Sand flies on beach leave you with the biggest bites amd scams immaginable bring 100 percent deep and bathroom in it.
We have stayed at low value accomodation throught our 3 month stay and this was the shocker pf them all cant believe people base there review on the shower bed and beach when everything else os disgusting, thisbisnt just covid either it looks like decades of neglect

The location is amazing
The rooms are run down and falling apart, there were loud construction noises in the morning and early afternoon and its very expensive for what it is (breakfast is very basic and mostly cold)

Le petit déjeuner est excellent et très copieux.
L’hôtel est bien placé, avec les transats sur la plage qui sont agréables.
Nous sommes arrivés dans une chambre très sale. Elle était au milieu d’une zone de chantier, bruyante et sale également, la piscine est sale aussi.
On nous a proposé une autre chambre après avoir lourdement insisté, mais en payant un supplément. Tout cela sans aucune excuse, aucun sourire, aucun intérêt pour le client. Le personnel ne dit pas bonjour et est très désagréable.

On the best beach, the pool, breakfast and room.
Some reviews says that, yes the pool tiles are missing, but you don’t even see it so who cares in the context that you are facing the ocean in an island! Then that their is not enough sun bed, nope their is plenty and no one was waiting on one. That the breakfast is always the same, well you can have 3 different breakfast if you don’t take everything at once, plus the lady makes fresh eggs to your taste, what else, so yes no fresh fruit juice, oh my god we need to bring a full boat of fresh fruit to accommodate you… That their is electricity shortage, well yes , about 3 seconds a day. That the restaurant next door is loud, well only if you wanted a retirement island, plus you can’t hear it from the bedrooms…
If you want a 4 star hotel from Monaco in an island in Cambodia, don’t come to Koh Rong and stay home.

Das Personal war lustlos. Der Bungalow war ein Betonklotz ohne Fenster und sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Der Putz fällt von der Wand. Ab 9:00 Uhr war das Obst Frühstücksbuffet fast leer. Trotz Nachfrage wurde sehr lustlos noch Melone gebracht.

The location is all you are paying for here. The beach is pretty stunning. Nice food in walking distance.
We booked the standard room, it was shocking how bad it was. Dirty & completely neglected. The staff are friendly but can’t help. The owner is putting no money into this and over charging as they know you can’t move hotels once on the island. Something was living inside the wall of our accommodation. I didn’t feel at ease or relaxed once whilst staying here. Also everyone we met on the island left with a bacterial infection from swimming on the opposite side of the island.

Super location on Long Set beach. Nice bar area and pool. Lots of sun loungers. Rooms vary , we had superior room which was good. Staff really friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Several good restaurants down the beach.
Pool was closed for a few days while they sorted cloudy problems. We did get some compensation after asking for it.

Etwas herrunter gekommene Anlage Pool mit trüben Wasser und sehr ramponiert,liebloses Frühstück Buffet Toaster brauchte 10 min.fur 2 Toastscheiben nach mehrmaligen reklamieren war er dann ganz weck, Kaffee schrecklich wurde mit Wasser verlängert Nachschub funktioniert auch nicht,unsere Zimmer waren einfach und ungemütlich nur ein Stuhl also man konnte sich nicht zusammen raus setzten was sich nicht einladend gewesen wäre, keine Ablage Möglichkeiten für Handtücher im Bad nur ein Haken sehr kleines Bad, Matratze hart und unbequem, Auflagen der Liegen einfach eklig und zu wenig liegen, Fernseher ging nicht es gibt kein Empfang

The place does NOT look like the photos at all.
ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING mattresses on chairs at the pool and the beach.. Torn, black with dirt. Chairs themselves also broken in many cases.

Location was very nice, a few minutes walk from the pier, and directly on the beach. Absolutely beautiful. Breakfast also was very good at the beach restaurant of the hotel. My bungalow/apartment was quite big and was comfy enough. The fact that there was a little gym facility, so I could get some kind of workout during my stay.
Mad Monkey is located next door so you could step there if you feel like socializing with young people.
It was quite hard to close the bungalow door.
The little gym facility is located behind the pool so the view is fine, but the fact that it's in a glass room makes it even hotter than outside. I know it's not easy to make it transparent and protect the equipment at the same time. The fan inside helped just a little. Of course it's an extremely limited "gym", but still better than nothing.

Die Anlage war sauber und ist direkt am Strand. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist am Strand.
Die Zimmer waren sauber.
Unter der Woche war es absolut ruhig.
Unsere Zimmertür hatte einen großen Spalt durch den viele Moskitos kamen, das gleiche leider auch durch die Lüftung im Bad. Wir wurden böse in den Nächten zerstochen. Mit Moskitonetzen hätte dem vorgebeugt werden können.
Es gab keine Sonnenschirme am Strand.
Wochenende nicht zu empfehlen, da Asiatische Reisegruppen kommen.

Our stay was amazing! We were upgraded to a stand alone bungalow for free. Facilities were clean,hot water shower and the staff was helpful. The restaurant food was good and we really enjoyed the daily buffet breakfast. The beach was one of the best we’ve ever seen…white sand,clear blue water and very clean.

There was a party going on the last night and day we left. This mad a lot of noise and even when staff asked them to be quieter they didn't so ruined it.
The breakfast on the last day had no options for those who weren't Cambodian due to this last party. Again was disappointing.

I think it is located in the best beach by far on the island.
The staff was great.
It's not a big deal for me because I have the same breakfast everyday at home but I do understand that it could be quite boring for anyone staying more than 3 days to have the same breakfast everyday.

So many scams getting to and from the island. We got taken both ways. The resort is very old and run down. Everything is falling apart. Our food was good but often was missing a key ingredient. Also food was reasonably priced. The staff was very good and accommodating as they moved us thru 4 different rooms due to toilet and ac issues. Our final night was in a bungalow which was pretty good. No TV's work anywhere and internet is very spotty. In 3 months of traveling Asia this is the trip I regret most. Between expensive ferry rides and scam's and bad rooms I would definitely skip not only this resort but the entire island.

First of all, the staff were so kind and helpful and made it a really pleasurable stay.
The location was absolutely stunning. By far the best stretch of beach on the island, much more clear and clean and tranquil than other recommended beaches.
The food was great and not overly expensive.
The room was clean and cleaned every other day and had no problems with bugs/mosquitos.
All in all, a great stay.
Really no complaints.

Relaxed vibe with friendly staff and the hotel is in a good location on, what I think, was one of the nicer beaches on the island. Room A/C worked well.
The gym is very basic and the equipment is quite old.
