Cozy country farmhouse cottage relax with the family or friends in the country surrounded by farms and nature. Private home has plenty of parking with large front and back yard with fire pit. Local attractions within minutes Woodford Reserve, Castle & Key, Glenn’s Creek, farm tours and wineries. Walking trails at Buckley’s Sanctuary also local restaurant just down the road The Stave. Located 6 miles from Interstate I-64, 30 minutes to Keeneland Racecourse, Lexington. 20 minutes to the State Capital and Vietnam Memorial

Nice old farmhouse with a somewhat quirky room layout, but it was excellent for our needs. We did not use the washer dryer, so don’t know how that was. Kitchen stove was old but worked fine. AC/heat was fine. Lots of seating in living room and front room. Pleasant front porch. Great wildlife and bird viewing. Saw a redheaded woodpecker and a blue swallow among other birds. Dear, rabbits, and groundhogs visited the yard and field across. Only downside was the very tall bed in the main bedroom. It really needed a stool or something beside it. Otherwise we liked the property. Thank you to the host!
