Beautiful, spaceous room close to the bus and train stations

Beautiful atmosphere, super clean, comfortable, and spacious room. The hotel is really close (within 10 mins walk) to the bus and train stations which makes it really convenient for travelers.

The hotel is a little further from the center than other hotels in Santiago. You also need to go through a roundabout and an underpass to get there, which my be less convenient and safe at night. Fewer stores and cafes around than in the center of the city.

Good hotel with very tasty breakfast

I liked a lot the very tasty breakfast with many Spanish specialties, the spacious and nicely designed rooms, and the friendly staff. It was also great that the windows could be opened for fresh air, but they were at the same time well isolated to protect from street noise.

The hotel is located on a big and noisy street. It's not far from the train station, but the walk there isn't really pleasant.

Wonderful place to end my Camino Journey

This was the perfect hotel after hiking The Camino. The room was luxurious and so was the bed. There is a restaurant on site so no more walking to find a nice meal. The bathroom was like a spa. I had to leave early and they prepared a breakfast box for me.

The street outside was busy so I couldn’t open my windows. But the AC worked well so it wasn’t a problem.

Superb

Staff really kind and the bedroom has much space. The TV has bluetooth connection, so I could watch my own programs. Breakfast is not included, but it was really good and amazing too. Very complete. They have a small but very complete gym too, ir was great!

Its not so close to the center, but it was not a problem. Its nice and calm to walk in the city.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Surprisingly good restaurant in hotel. Comfortable rooms. Very close to Intermodal Station (train and bus).

It is a good walk to get to the Cathedral area, good 20 minutes give or take.

Great location, lovely rooms, staff welcoming, clean and tidy

Gastropub food was disappointing, ceasar salad was good, patatas bravas were oven wedges and a sirachamayo dip!

A very enjoyable stay in a hotel with great staff.

Very clean and presentable hotel which has some nice modern features. The staff throughout the hotel were excellent, friendly, super helpful and very professional.

Only minor points were things like no usb sockets even in a premium room. Additionally the hotel is a bit far from the main city centre so it’s a freak to get there each evening for food or taking taxis. There are a couple of good restaurants nearby though.

We really love this hotel. Spacious room, clean bathroom with pretty big towels, very nice staff.

We didn’t have toilet brush.

Close enough to the center.

The room was nice. Location very good. Free places to park close by

We arrived at midnight so no food available at property. I thought the hotel staff could have mentioned some eating options as I was traveling with a child. No big issue

The size of the room compare to other hotels in the city is big

You can hear other people in the room walking, talking and going to the toilet. So, we couldn't sleep properly. Even when we changed the rooms, it didn't helped. Also, when you arrive, they tell you that the parking will cost 10Euros. They dont say that in the description. Moreover, the breakfast and the quality of the coffee is terrible. For the 4 star Hotel its really bad. In the rooms, they dont provide slippers, and bathrobes. For the Hotel with a 4 star rating is the must have option.

The hotel is 10min walk from the central station and situated in a non-central area. There is a busy road in front of the hotel - but the backside is very quiet. The personell was kind and helpful. The Wifi is excellent. The room and bathroom were up to my expectations I had for a Melia hotel. The hotel is just 1 minute away from a large park!

The restaurant was only ok (based on 1x dinner). Had hoped for a more exciting experience. There are not too many alternatives around - but all of them were better. However, this is „complaining“ on a very high level.

Do not take the H.B. deal

The hotel was o.k. and the room was o.k.

We took the half bord deal. The dinner served was very poor and not becoming a 4 star hotel. Poor choice of menu and dishes served were not very good.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful time at Santiago Plaza. The rooms were clean and very comfortable but the best part was the amazing service from the personnel at the front desk. They were so kind that they let us store our luggage with them so we could travel lighter while we were on The Camino. It was a tremendous advantage and benefit

I was locked in the gents toilet for 15 minutes because the lights automatically switched off and I couldn't get out. It was very frightening but I got little sympathy or help from the staff and management.

Didn’t have breakfast, the price of the room could have included a small breakfast! The room was lovely, bathroom lovely. Air conditioning needs looking at, was so loud, thought it was going to fall apart.

Frosty reception from staff on arrival, after a long journey and having to walk further than the 500mtrs from the station, I expected better. Maybe they didn’t like the way we were dressed?! Seemed to soften when my husband started speaking in Spanish. Not a good end to a momentous trip.
