Neat and clean
The beds are very hard, rather have decent mattress and charge R100 a day more.

We loved our stay at Ponta Mar Resort for the most part. We needed to stay an extra night before our original booking and they were able to accommodate us and the room was very clean and comfortable. And the access to the beach and the breakfast was great.
The room we moved to for our original booking had issues with hot water and we had to ask for repairs twice. The housekeeping staff was not very accommodating as they kept coming back to ask if they could clean the room and when we finally left they never came back to do a thorough cleaning. After asking the reception for them to clean the room, they only changed our towels and left everything else as is...which was quite disappointing.

Excellent location
The noise and book boxes from people checked in that had noise all night till 3am and then again in the morning. Taxi parked outside the room with music blaring. There should be zero tolerance for noise. You pay to relax at the beach instead you in a nightclub forced to listen to blaring music.
