Wow. This really exceeded my expectations. We stayed at El Jardin Del Mango about two weeks ago and absolutely loved it. We loved it so much that when we had to come back to San Jose for our embassy appointment , we tried to rebook and were disappointed they were full. We asked for a recommendation and they said this property was from the same owners. The room is really 10/10. It's clean, the King bed is extremely comfortable. It's very spacious, shower pressure 10/10. The balcony was the perfect touch. Every time we come, this will absolutely be our first choice!!
That we couldn't stay one more day because they were booked =( Other than that, I really can't complain. The location, the restaurant choices, the park , the stadium, the shopping...perfect locaation.

Location.
I am familiar with the area and wanted to be closer to my points of interest this time. Though this place is good for solo travelers for only a few days.
I stayed in studio #7, so I'm sharing my experience about that particular unit.
It is on the first floor with open access to the street, and VERY noisy all day long.
The unit has blinds, but it was impossible to move them, so I lived with the open views.
There is NO CLOSET in the unit. You can not hang your clothes anywhere. There are some shelves here and there, but no closet.
There is NO air conditioner/heat unit in the room, only a fan. That means that April-October/November is very hot there without an air conditioner, while December-March is cold without a heater.
The bathroom is clean and beautifully designed. Waiting for 5 minutes for hot water in a shower is normal in Costa Rica :))
The kitchen had lots of supplies; however, many of them were overused, had old marks, and were not nice to use.
