Comfortable,cosy and overall a great stay.

We Stayed there in March as a part of a gift trip for my mum, we absolutely loved it. Beautiful and cosy room also very clean and nicely decorated . Room was well stocked with teas, coffees, etc… lovely garden with seats as well. The staff were brilliant, the lady at reception ordered us a taxi, and even borrowed us a pair of scissors. She happily answered all of our questions and was super helpful and friendly. Great location with a bus stop just a short walk away. Excellent value for money considering it is very close to Dublin city. We will absolutely stay there again on our next trip to Dublin, we would 100% recommend this lovely spot.

Fabuloso B&B. Ubicado en una zona residencial, en la que puedes descansar, aunque no lejos tienes algunas opciones de ocio y restauración. Parada de autobús cerca, junto a una cafetería buenísima. El desayuno irlandés es muy bueno, recomiendo probarlo. La habitación nuestra era muy amplia, y muy limpia. El personal muy muy amable. Gran opción, si vas a visitar Dublín.

No había agua potable en la habitación, aunque dejaban rellenar botellas en el comedor.

Handy for quick business stay.

Got an upgrade to the room which was a lovely surprise.

Cleaners need to pay more attention when cleaning the room. Bathroom bin was not emptied from previous guests.

Good location but not good experience

Property is in a great location and staff were lovely

Rooms - far too small. Bathroom was the worst, when you open the door it hits the toilet. For anyone over 15 stone you would need to step into the shower when you open the door, then close it, to reach the toilet!! Secondly was the noise. I had a 4am start and managed around an hour’s sleep! Lights on sensors outside my room that were constantly flicking on and off all through the night. Then when someone uses the shower anywhere in the property at 1am/2am in the morning it is like trying to sleep beside a railway track, the noise would deafen you!!

The bed was really comfortable. The location is great, nearby to busstops and Drumcondra train station. Overall, it was a good experience.

Good place to stay

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is small but clean, lovely decorated and it has all you need.

The location is a bit (too) far from the city centre.

Breve sosta in un quartiere tipico

Zona carinissima e tranquilla. Personale super disponibile e gentile. Camera con tutto, pulita e calda. Un pochino lontana dal centro ma ben collegata con bus (a piedi 25 min). Parcheggio a pagamento davanti l’hotel.

A localização era um pouco distante do centro porém de fácil acesso ao transporte público. Nas proximidades tem um comercio que atende bem.

O trecho entre o ponto de onibus e o hotel muito escuro e ermo a noite.

A comfortable stay!

I was grateful that there was parking on site, although we did have to pay for it (it was a reasonable amount). The woman at reception was excellent--she got all our details sorted out, offered to hold our bags, and took down my number to call us if the room was ready early. This gave us a chance to explore the town, and we were lucky to be able to check in several hours early after all. The room and bed were comfortable. I appreciated the coffee/tea station, the extra cups on the bathroom, the towel warmer, and the hair dryer (although it took me a little while to find). There were also extra blankets in the closet if we got cold. We had a nice view and a comfortable stay!

The shower was a little small, although I hear that is common in Dublin/urban rentals in Ireland. It took a little time to figure out the hot/cold settings and for the water to heat up, but once it did there was no problem. The room was clean but I did notice a few brownish/blackish spots in the bathroom that might be due to excessive moisture. We ran the fan and didn't worry about it too much though. Unfortunately, we didn't try breakfast since it cost 14 Euro and we were heading out early in the morning.

A basic but affordable option. Good if you’re on a budget and don’t mind a place far from the centre

The staff were very friendly and helpful

The hotel smelled like damp and showed signs of wear and tear. The bathroom was very small and getting in and out of the shower was difficult.

Quaint home away from home

Very nice quaint little bed and breakfast. Super comfortable bedding and the rooms are insulated well from noise and temperature with plenty of heating. A little small but perfect for a solo or couple traveler stay, especially for the price.

Like most places in Ireland (and especially Dublin), it's a little cozy/compact. The smoking patio could use some chairs to make it more comfortable.

Muy cómodo y bonito

La casa es preciosa y el personal muy atento. El desayuno también muy bien.

La habitación con las dos camas dejaba muy poco espacio. El armario no tiene estanterias así que colgamos algunas cosas pero el resto quedó en las maletas enmedio de la habitación.

Beim Frühstück hat man alles was man braucht. Sehr gut war, dass wenn man morgens sehr früh los musste und es nicht zum Frühstück schaffte, wurde es vom Preis abgezogen. Die Lage ist in Ordnung und man erreicht relativ schnell alles. Zimmer waren hübsch und Bad völlig in Ordnung.

Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig. Zimmer im Erdgeschoss waren teilweise zum schuppen raus und da sind morgens Arbeiter am Zimmer vorbeigelaufen. Die Bushaltestellen sind etwas weiter weg.

Quiet location and friendly staff

Located in a quiet area within a few minutes from public transport and around a 20 min walk to O'Connell Street. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Bedrooms were both small and basic facilities. Breakfast was not good for the price.

Very good

The staff was extremely friendly and eager to help. This was our first day in Dublin a day they made sure we knew how to get to where we wanted to go. The room was comfortable. The garden is beautiful. Because it is a little ways away from downtown, it has a really calm vibe to it.

We arrived very late but check in was fast and easy! After having stayed in some very uncomfortable beds in prior we were pleasantly surprised that the beds were incredibly comfortable! It felt like I was staying at my Nana’s house, very cozy and quiet.

Perfect start to our 2-week vacation

We loved everything about the place. Nice hot shower with plenty of pressure, beautiful room with a lovely street view, friendly staff. Community rooms were a big plus as we'd taken a redeye and were able to relax in a comfy area until our room was ready,

Superb

A nice clean place to sleep - they have a nice little garden area to sit in with lovely plants. My husband fell asleep on the common room couch - so it apparently was comfortable. The lady who checked us in went out of her way to help us in anyway she could and wanted to make sure that we were content in our stay. Parking was probably the most difficult part of the stay on the first night, but we learned during our trip that parking in Ireland in general was the most difficult part of the trip.

The room was just a tad stuffier than we are used to. I opened the window the 2nd night to let the air in - no screens, however as far as I could tell there were no insects trying to get in either - no mosquitos in Ireland??? How lucky!

Superb

Egans House is a nice building in a very quiet area of Dublin. The staff is very kind and the room is cleaned every day. The breakfast offers a variety of local products. A traditional Irish breakfast. The location was perfect for me to easily reach some of DCU campus on foot

Nothing in particular. I missed some sweet stuff for breakfast (biscuits, pastries), but since breakfast is a traditional one, it is not a real problem
