Located in the historic town of Barre, just off the Commons is this unassuming, yet sprawling property. This house features five bedrooms, six bathrooms, seven fireplaces, a large lodge-like family room that doubles as a game room, equipped with pool, foosball, and air-hockey tables as well as a pinball machine and retro arcade games.

The property is beautiful and so unique. We really enjoyed exploring it! Everything was great when we arrived. I booked the property more than a year in advance because it was for a college graduation and we had a big group going. A couple of months before. I started trying to contact the host because I had some questions. I got no response. VRBO customer service tried to contact her and also couldn’t reach her. It got to the point where they were offering me another home to rent because she was not responding and we didn’t know what was going on. I finally got through to her 2 months after my initial attempt. Once I reached her, she was gracious and accommodating. But the anxiety I went through worrying that we weren’t going to have a place to stay was not worth it. She does not use the VRBO hosting platform so there is no way to reach her in advance of your booking. If you are okay with this the property is great. I think it’s terrible especially since the place is so expensive.
