About this house rental
Make some memories at this unique, family-friendly place. Enjoy a quaint cottage by the sea with breathtaking sunrise & beautiful sunsets. Access to small private beach. Sylvan beach in LaPorte is close by. There’s a wildlife preserve beside the neighborhood & a walking trail that runs along Todville Rd & Pine Gully. Conveniently located near the Kemah Boardwalk, NASA, 30 min to Galveston & 30 min to downtown Houston.
The space
This house was built in the 1950s. It has the original hardwood floors except in kitchen and bath which have recently been renovated.
Granite countertops thoughout.
Smart devices on all TVs to stream movies. Hulu and Disney+ are ready for your use.
This house doesn’t have cable tv.
Guest access
There’s plenty of parking in the driveway and overflow parking on the concrete slab to the left of the house.
Do not park on the first and second streets from the beach. They ticket for this.
Golf carts can be rented and delivered from several local golf cart places and can be driven through the neighborhood and down to the beach, but not on the beach. You can park in the grassy areas.
Other things to note
The deer are very friendly here as they are accustom to people. They generally do not let you pet them. Remind children these are wild animals, not a petting zoo.(remind adults too)

We had a wonderful stay! Such a cute cottage with everything we needed and close to everywhere we wanted to go. Loved seeing the deer in the yard and across the yard.Clean, and comfortable. We had a perfect stay and hope to come back! Wonderful and helpful host, great communication.

Everything about this cottage was perfect, wish it was mine! The location was great for everything we were doing, especially the walk to the beach and close enough to bigger beaches. I definitely want to make it a tradition. The fenced in porch was perfect for having our little dog and of course the fenced in backyard for him.We took many pictures of the cute decor . We loved seeing the deer in the yard. I even got some ideas for what I'm going to do with my kitchen. We loved this so much, what a wonderful stay. The cottage itself was just as much a part of our vacation as the Strawberry festival, concerts and beaches! Thank you for sharing this cottage!

Lovely old house! Nice safe neighborhood. Enjoyed daily walks with our 2 dogs to the quiet little beach area. Excellent communication from host. Close to restaurants and shops in Seabrook and Kemah.
