De barn is op een heel mooie locatie gelegen, met een fantastisch zicht op de vallei. Wij kwamen met de trein en het was gemakkelijk dat dit huisje op 10 minuten van het station te bereiken is. De barn is een oud verblijf voor hun dieren, dat is omgebouwd tot een gezellig huisje waar onze 2 kinderen een hele week volledig zichzelf konden zijn. Met twee gezellige slaapkamers, twee aparte badkamers, en een keuken die alle faciliteiten heeft. Perfect om wandelingen in de streek te doen, of gezinsuitstapjes in de Peak District
Niets eigenlijk. Alles verliep prima! Als je echt een huisje zoekt met een tuin voor de kinderen, dan zoek je misschien best verder. Er is wel ruimte buiten maar niet echt een speeltuin.

Beautifully appointed. The kitchen was very well equipped with quality items and it was lovely to have spices, oil etc. Bathrooms were clean and modern with supplied toiletries. Our bedroom was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Sitting room was perfect for relaxation and there was an abundance of games.
The outdoor area must be wonderful in summer with BBQ, chiminea, outdoor furniture and lovely lighting. There was a lot of information provided which was very useful plus numerous magazines on Derbyshire.
The property is safe and secure and well lit.
On our arrival, Carol had provided a hamper with wine and delicious biscuits and in the fridge we found milk and pikelets. So thoughtful and welcoming, as were the lovely carnations.
The village with a good selection of amenities is within easy reach and the Chinley Wildlife area is perfect for dogs.
We would love to return in early summer and take full advantage of all that is on offer at Woodlands Barn and High Peak.

Woodlands barn is a wonderful holiday home located perfectly for exploring the hills of the High Peak.
The house itself is clean and warm, the service fantastic and the amenities perfect.
The only problem is the steep access road, which I would imagine would be difficult for people with mobility issues, but apart from that Woodlands Barn is perfect.
