The location is secluded, offering extraordinary peace and quiet. The scenery is lush and green from end to end—beautiful and soothing. For us, the house itself was simply perfect; everything was new, comfortable, pleasant, and inviting. The owners were delightful and attentive, providing important information via WhatsApp and remaining available to answer our questions.

Ruim huisje met volledig uitgeruste keuken. Onze auto’s stonden onder een afdak wat een groot gevoel van veiligheid gaf. We vonden het ook leuk dat er zoveel verschillende plekjes waren om buiten te zitten.
Ook was het er heel rustig wat voor een instant vakantiegevoel zorgde. Daarnaast was alles enorm proper en waren de hosts zeer toegankelijk.
De allergrootste meerwaarde waren voor ons de diertjes die er rondliepen. We raakten al snel bevriend met de hond Bibi en ook de poesjes gaven we met veel plezier wat aandacht. Dat heeft het gemis van onze viervoeter thuis een stuk aangenamer gemaakt.
Als ik dan toch een minpuntje moet geven is dat de ligging. Het zit zo dat je namelijk wel een poosje nodig hebt om beneden (op de reguliere wegen) te geraken. Een route die wij als Belgen met onze platte wegen liever niet in het donker deden. Maar gezien de rust die je bovenop de berg kon vinden hadden we het er zeker voor over.

Some people may be bothered by the absence of a mobile signal (WiFi still works). But for us, the mobile detox was welcome
