This wine country getaway offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms with relaxing interiors mixed with a Tuscany vibe. The backyard offers the ultimate privacy with stunning views of wildlife, mature oaks, distant vineyards with songs of nature. The property is very private. The owner lives on the property, a distance from the cottage, and has two small friendly dogs. This beautiful cottage is minutes from Hwy. 101, where you can enjoy a short trip to Atascadero, Templeton, or Paso Robles offering some of the finest dining experiences and wine tasting on the Central Coast. Visit Cambria, Cayucos, or Morro Bay just minutes away. Whatever your plans are, you will thoroughly enjoy the breathtaking escape that Vita Amorosa has to offer. Confident your stay will have you coming back to visit again. **Doggie guests allowed, limited to 2 small dogs. There is a $25/night fee per dog applied. Please confirm our office with the number of dogs you plan to bring so we may charge accordingly. **This home has a strict occupancy of a total of 4 guests only, including children ***We continue to implement our already rigorous cleaning protocols along with an added layer of disinfecting, as we finalize for each guest arrival.*** ***Five Star Coffee Program- We start your stay with a supply of coffee, filters, coffee pods, cream, and sugar for our provided drip and pod-style coffee makers onsite at every home. ***Dogs are only allowed with an additional $25/night per dog fee. The pet fee is not included in the 'initial quote'. Please let us know if you will be bringing a dog(s) during your stay, so we can charge accordingly.***

I was hesitant about writing a review because I really wanted to keep Vita Amorosa all to myself, my peaceful getaway from the real world. The place is absolutely stunning—amazing views and super clean. We spent most of our time in the kitchen and backyard....drinking wine and cooking. We didn’t eat out for entire stay, the kitchen was well stocked with pans, pots, plates, utensils, etc. The mornings were the most tranquil..sitting in the backyard, drinking coffee, and watching deers glaze over the fields. Bren is such an amazing and sweet host, his dogs are also friendly. He gave us extra spice blends to take home. If you need to relax and escape from reality for a bit, I recommend going to Vita Amorosa.

We were met upon arrival by the owner, Bren, who lives on the property. The code given to us by the property management company was not working, so Bren was able to let us in.
The house is adorable and was perfect for me, my husband, my mother-in-law, and three dogs. We came to the area to visit my family and it was nice to be less than two miles away from my folks' house.
The house was clean, warm, and comfortable. Bren has his own spices and left us a whole set to keep! We used them to cook breakfast in the kitchen. There are all the pots, pans, bowls, plates and silverware you need. There is coffee in the cupboard, which saved us from having to find a coffee shop on Christmas day.
We were able to contact the property management company via telephone and they gave us a new code for the door, so that was not a big deal.
There is a good-sized fenced backyard with items necessary to clean up after your animals. It was nice to be outside and watch the hummingbirds at the feeder and deer pass by outside the fence.
The beds were soft and comfortable. The bath towels were HUGE, which is great for tall people like us.
The couch was kind of uncomfortable, but not a big deal.
All in all, this was a great little space to stay. We will definitely consider it when we are back in town.

Bren’s little cottage was absolutely perfect. Nice amenities and furnishings. While it’s on the same property as the owner Bren, he was respectful of our privacy and he’s a very nice man. He gave us a bunch of his famous seasonings and they made the bbq we had amazing. I will be back.

Bren pays attention to all the little details. This house was cleaner than any hotel we’ve ever stayed. It’s a peaceful little house away from the traffic. We spent a lot of time in the backyard enjoying the quiet. The house is located close to just about everything. Bren was a terrific host and left us wanting for nothing. He also gave us some of his spice mixes to take home. We will definitely be back.

We spent 4 wonderful days at Vita Amarosa. The guest house was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and very private. It was furnished with everything you would need for a relaxing stay. Bren went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and at the same time give us our privacy. As an added bonus we received wonderful spices to take home and remind us of our wonderful trip every time we use them. We will definitely stay at Vita Amarosa again; we look forward to seeing the deer again.

A wonderful cozy house. Very well stocked. Bren, the owner, was a delight. By the way your tomatoes were really delicious. The yard is fully enclosed. We have a dog. He loved playing with the owner's dogs and being able to run in a large enclosed area. Our grandchildren came to visit. The house has a swing and slide set plus a climbing wall. All in all a wonderful stay. We'll be back!!

Great rental with magnificent views. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the seasonings blends that the owner, Bren, left us and the fresh vegies from the garden was another fun bonus.

Beautiful guest house with great amenities. Pictures totally accurate- beautiful back deck with view of oak trees and mountains beyond. Quiet and relaxing. Great kitchen to work with. Owner Bren is a great guy, very friendly and informative. Available if you need him and out of the oicture if you need privacy. Great host. He also produces his own line of grilling seasonings which he gifts you as his guests, Very generous and thoughtful. Will be back and 100% recommend.

My wife and I were looking for a nice place to stay away from the tourist areas in wine country and we came upon this place. We were so pleased to find the place in such great condition and in a very peaceful location. The house is well designed with plenty of room for 4 adults. The backyard is the perfect place to grill and sip some wine with great views of the local wildlife. The place has a vegetable garden and you are allowed to harvest what you need. The host provides you with a large selection of specially blended spices which we used to grill fish, scallops and meat. Our host Bren was fantastic and took care of any special requests. He even allowed us to plug in our hybrid. We are already making plans to come back in December!

Our family stayed here during the grad weekend at cal poly and we had an amazing time! Our puppy had so much space that was dog friendly to run around and hangout as well. Highlight were Bren’s spices that we enjoyed and took home including some cilantro from the garden! I hope to be back!

My father and I stayed over the weekend because we were in town for a wedding. It was such a relaxing place to stay and unwind around all the hoopla for the wedding. Bren was such a friendly person and we even got quite a bit of his secret spices for later. His two little dogs were very friendly as well.

Well equipped house with higher end appliances and furnishings in a quiet neighborhood with an out in the woods feel. King size bed was firm and extremely comfortable. Wonderful shower with 2 shower heads in master bath and tub in hall bath. Back patio with table for eating steaks grilled on the stainless gas grill was quiet with beautiful view of the wooded hills. Bren lives in the main house on the property and is super friendly and hospitable. Loved our 3 day stay and would go back.

We loved our stay at Vita Amorosa. This little ranch house fits perfect with the setting and the interior is detailed to a t so that it’s homey and exquisitely stylish at the same time. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next visit. Bren is a wonderful host, too. He’s so kind, considerate, and his spices are fantastic.

Even though we seemed to pick the coldest wettest week in Paso's history, our vacation home was as cozy as could be, in a great location for traveling to wineries, the coast, attractions, restaurants, groceries, etc. Bren our host at the location was generous with his time answering a myriad of questions. The outdoor space was peaceful and beautiful, and Bren had planted a fresh vegetable garden in the back allowing us to create wonderful fresh salads. We visited a number of wonderful Paso Robles wineries, the Hearst Castle, traveled Highway 1 to see the Elephant Seal's rookery, the charming shops in Cambria, the San Miguel Franciscan Mission, Paso's Farmer's Market, the Sensoria Field of Lights, Morro Bay Rock, and Morro Bay State Park, and took a coastline hike- Montana D'Oro with spectacular views of the cliffs and ocean.

Cottage is just what we hoped, and had more nice touches than the photos showed. On arrival the host Bren gave us a few tips on the region, as we are not familiar with the area. We felt very comfortable immediately, and the space in the yard and beyond provide such a relaxing atmosphere. We (family of three, child is a teen) all very much enjoyed our stay and will stay here again on our next journey to or through the area. Bren is an excellent host - very kind and available with his knowledge, but busy with his work; PRVR are astute and checked that our stay was progressing as expected - an excellent pairing for a vacation stay.

Vita Amorosa, Bren's place, is a great place to stay and would be great for a family or a couple of friends as well as a location to explore the area. Bren was so helpful and friendly with everything we needed, and even shared a glass of wine and his famous Bren's Blend Seasonings with us.Bren's a great guy, and his little pups were friendly with my dog too- they were fun to have around.Great little (FENCED!) yard great for dogs as well as little kids I'd imagine.Good location, great views over the valley, good kitchen etc- everything you need. We were there for about a week for work, and loved it. Highly recommend.
