The location was fantastic, unfortunately the unit fell short of the standards I expect at the Wharf

The location was excellent and one of the reasons we chose this condo. I've stayed at The Wharf many times in different units and have always had wonderful experiences, but this unit missed the mark.

The location was excellent and one of the reasons we chose this condo. Unfortunately, the condition of the unit did not meet expectations. When we arrived, the beds were made, the toilets were clean, and the dishes had been washed, but that was about the extent of the cleaning. The floors had not been swept or vacuumed, the countertops had not been wiped down, and the end tables and TV cabinet were covered in dust. The artificial flower arrangements were also very dusty, and there were handprints and smudges on the sliding glass door and mirrored table. Before we could even begin to enjoy our vacation, I had to clean and wipe down the unit myself. The furnishings were also in poor condition. The living room chairs had rips in them, and the sofa and chair cushions were old, stained, and dirty. The condo felt dated and not representative of the price we paid. There were several maintenance issues as well. The master shower leaked badly, requiring us to use towels to soak up water after every shower. We ended up washing those towels daily just so we could reuse them. Some bedroom lamps were broken or had burned-out bulbs, and the batteries were dead in all of the TV remotes. I contacted the management company, and they said they would send someone to address the cleaning issues, but no one ever came. I've stayed at The Wharf many times in different units and have always had wonderful experiences, which made this stay especially disappointing. This particular unit was a huge miss. Considering the cleanliness, condition, and lack of follow-up from management, it was not a good value for the money. I would not choose to stay in this unit again.

The location was fantastic and we were able to get to all of our basketball tournament games while avoiding all traffic.

The master shower leaked when in use. It led us to realize this was a chronic problem and the underside of the cabinets was rotting and full of mold. Also, the washer and dryer were not working so we had to wash clothes in someone else’s unit. Everything needed to be dusted and refreshed.
