Very different very rural.

Fantastic views !

We stayed for a couple of nights. Joana who met us with the keys was very friendly and was excellent at communicating with us throughout our stay from recommending local restaurants to advising us on local sites etc., We were in the upper villa which has excellent views of the vineyards with brilliant views of the sunset at night. The villa's have basic kitchen utilities including a fridge, hob and a microwave. Parking is directly outside the villa and is secure.

We missed the fact that there wasn't an oven in the villa nor is there a freezer compartment within the fridge meaning you can't get ice nor can you cook anything that requires an oven. Also, the TV isn't a Smart TV meaning we couldn't get live UK news on You Tube.

Lovely vineyard setting with spotless room and bath. Quiet and slept well.

The delivery of breakfast at the time requested was very good. Staff excellent and accommodating. Hostess helped us when we could not use the key properly and the need to push the door very hard to open. She was amazing with us, always wanting to be helpful.

My suggestions are: 1. you have a microwave and refrigerator but no dishes, silverware or wine opener. Why a microwave? This was wine country, I think you would expect people to return with a bottle of wine. Total inability to open it. 2.. The lock on the door is very difficult to use, we watched even the hostess have a difficult time with it. I believe it needs to be replaced. 3. I stress again the hostess was amazing, welcoming, wanting to please all with a smile. 4. We had a difficult time finding it but more our fault I think given we were inexperienced with the tight narrow roads. 5. Wi fi was super spotty. My daughter and I could not be on at the same time, if at all.
