Location was awesome, and the staff was excellent.
It is an old Chalet that guest rooms have been remodeled. The rooms are a bit odd, and seemed to be more designed to sleep as many as possible, and not leave a lot of space.

Very cozy and welcoming place to stay at, the staff were ever so kind and helpful. The location offered incredible views of the valley and surrounding mountains, perfect even for non-skiing seasons.

Great discount by booking the day before - so definitely worth the money.
Lots of space for 2 people in the family room.
Fantastic buffet breakfast with gorgeous local cheeses (which we bought some to take away with us).
Good set menus in the evening - 25 euros for 3 courses.
Very friendly and welcoming hosts and staff.
Amazing location - so quiet once the day visitors have left. If it's clear make the effort and get up for sunrise - you won't be disappointed.

Old rustic ski chalet, good food, nice staff, beautiful views, cooler weather, and hiking
The ceilings are angular which you can hit your head on. It is rustic but worth it. The listing should reference Mt Vogel website for info on the cable car..
