Superb location. The image on booking.com does it a slight disservice as it makes the Opera House look like its quite far off in the distance but in actual fact you get a great view of it. Walk out the door, hop on a ferry (approx 50 pence) and you can be at the Opera House and main areas such as the Rocks in 5-10 mins. Added extras such as bread, eggs and milk. (lots leave you tea and coffee, and perhaps a couple of little sachets of milk but rarely do you get a full bottle - doesnt sound much but makes a big difference after a long travel to not have to wake up and go hunt some more milk) Hosts very responsive. We had a little issue finding the place (due to a lazy Uber driver not taking us to the place properly and just abandoning us outside.) I messaged hosts, quite late at night, and they responded almost instantly. Great service
No blind on one of the Kitchen windows meaning people sleeping on sofa bed were woken as soon as the sun came up. Not a huge problem and wouldnt put me off staying here again.

Hot water system was sketchy, but the host was very responsive and helped resolve it straight away

Location was good and close to the ferry, though ferry is not the cheapest public transport option. Found a great cafe nearby ( Northern spoon).
View was great!
The apartment is tiny and it felt a bit crowded as there were 4 of us. The sofa-bed in lounge/dining area was quite firm and felt unclean. The whole apartment clearly needed proper cleaning- dust everywhere (we had to take anti-allergy pills because of the amount of dust). I had to wipe over shelves and other surfaces. Floor and grout was filthy.
