Price. The staff was very friendly. The location wasn’t really too far from train station and downtown area for restaurants etc
Staff was good about always providing clean towels etc even when we didn’t ask for housekeeping daily
Beds were comfortable. Quiet area which was nice
Very old and outdated. Not the greatest hotel for looks and view. If you just want a bed and shower this would be your basic accommodation.

Very close to the Shinjuku center and public transportation. Spacious room compared to the other hotels in Tokyo which was the main reason to stay.
Neither clean nor dirty. Old facility with outdated furnitures. The reception smells food unfortunately which is not the best thing to start and end up the day since you need to cross by it. I guess the ventilation system doesn't work properly, however it's not an issue for the rooms.
