Loved the fact we could use the fire and keep the house warm all day (it was -5 the first night). Also the pantry had many goodies, not to mention the extremely thoughtful Mulled Wine kit
It was in need of another full bathroom. If there was a large family staying, the one bathroom (with shower and bath) would be insufficient.

The house was extremely clean and tidy, and we were pleasantly surprised to find the heating/AC already on when we arrived, making it very warm and welcoming. It had everything we needed, and the view of Ruapehu was just stunning. The location is close to newworld and cafes. It’s very suitable for families and pets, and they even thoughtfully prepared a dog crate in the garage!
I gave 10/10 only because that’s the maximum score, but honestly, this place deserves 100. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely book here again for my next ski trip!

This property is truly value for money! Well organised and very well looked after, with double glazed windows, a heat pump in each room and a fireplace + open fire to make it a lot more cozier on a very cold winter night!
Honestly, there's not one single thing my family and I can fault about this beautiful, spacious lodge with a lot of character! We only stayed there for three nights, but wish we stayed for longer!
Thank you so much for letting us experience this outstanding place with outstanding views at Mt Ruapehu :)
