Beautifully and obviously very recently renovated house. The living area is open plan and catches all the afternoon and evening sun and has great views over Ohakune. The interior of the house felt comfortable and modern while tastefully respecting the character of the house. The bathrooms were modern with great water pressure and temperature. Communications from the management were timely and clear. The kitchen had all that you needed for a holiday stay (we were a group of 5 adults). Laundry was well equipped and easy to use.
Very minor points for improvement. The driveway is quite steep and unsealed so those not used to that might find it mildly challenging but was no problem for us. One point needs fixing; the frosting on the glass of the master ensuite bathroom is not dense enough so at night if someone uses the bathroom with the light on, they can be quite clearly seen from outside. We had to put a towel up to block it for privacy. This should be fixed with a higher density frosting or a blind / curtain.

Absolutely incredibly comfortable and warm home for extended family to meet from different areas of the North Island. The toilet was an absolute treat, and much talked about during our stay. You’ll know what I mean when you stay there.

We loved the comfort and the small touches (under floor heating, comfy throws). The house was warm and the kitchen incredibly well equipped. The two separate living areas were also really good.

One family never arrived due to illness. They other came but quite ill. The house was perfect for care and comfort.
No chopping boards. Everything else is exceptional.
