Attentive staff..
Good breakfast.
Restaurant available. Tasty plates. A bit expensive compared to other Sao Tomé eating, but very large portions as well.
Birdlife around the Resto&room.
Possible to have a late check out.
The location : very near or ON the main road.
Lots of noise from main road and mining site nearby.
Not much to see in the neighborhood.(Despite Santana surfin & a few deserted beaches).

Właściciel obiektu to wspaniała osoba. Dzięki temu zarówno udogodnienia w hotelu, jak i jedzenie, śniadanie, restauracja są dobrze zorganizowane i przemyślanelane. Wszystko jest na wysokim poziomie jak na możliwości lokalnych warunków. Zostaliśmy przywitani drinkiem, owocem kakaowca i ziarnami kakao. José opowiadał o wyspie. , Był bardzo miły i bardzo bezproblemowy. Wszystko to sprawiało, że bardzo dobrze się tam czuliśmy. Pyszne jedzenie- – ryby – w restauracji.
Nie ma nic. Wszystko jest takie jak powonno być w takim miejsu.

The owner (Luca) and his partner (Jose) were extremly helpful. They gave us all of the necessary informaton we could hire a car directly from the hotel (we picked up the Jimny at the airport and we gave it back also there) and they organized the fishing tour too. The bungalow was spacious with a big balcony (great view of the jungle) and bathroom (hot water is OK). The on site restaurant has (mostly) nice food and the prices are reasonable. The hotel's location is ideal to discover Sao Tome Island (but a car is mandatory... there is parking also)! Thank you Luca & Jose! We really, really enjoyed our stay in Casa Cantagalo!
As I wrote, the food in the restaurant was generally good, but don't try the fried octopus, it's really bad. Some local dishes were only on the menu, but not actually available. Bring a flashlight to see the way from the restaurant to the bungalow at night! A closet would be nice in the bungalow because you can't unpack your clothes. But these are only small things...

Le repas du soir était bon. La chambre était propre.
Pas de climatisation et coupure de courant de 2h jusqu'à 7h du matin. Le groupe électrogène ne fonctionnait pas. Pas d'aération dans la chambre. La chambre donne directement sur la salle du restaurant, donc pas d'intimité.
