Beautiful apartment, lots of plus points and in an excellent location.
It is on a really busy roundabout, which is extremely busy. Delayed checking in as we had to meet the representative there and they were late, nowhere to park to wait, so it’s a bit of a nightmare getting in as someone has to open the gate to let you in, be much better if a keysafe could be located somewhere. There just doesn’t seem to be the care and attention from the management team. Shower was blocking up, found the hair trap full of hair, overhead shower spurting water everywhere, marks on the sheets. No wine glasses, we are in France after all!! Rep knew there was no dishwasher tabs and said they’d drop some off, never saw them again. Just lacks care in my opinion. We loved the place but this sadly lets it down.

It is a very well located property. The building is 125 years old so has character but the apartment feels modern and has been well maintained.
We had a very bad experience on arrival. We were due be met by Nabil from the management company, Concierge du Lac. He arrived 30 minutes late leaving us in sweltering heat and with our car illegally parked. Instead of apologising, which we would have accepted, he complained bitterly about how he had too many arrivals to deal with. When I said that wasn’t really our problem he flew into a rage, threw the keys at my wife and stormed off leaving us to have to work out where to park and to find our way to the apartment. He was aggressive and intimidating and it cast a shadow over our stay. If the owners read this we would strongly advise that they change management company. The are in our late 60s and the whole experience was upsetting and stressful.

Great location close to the old town.
Next to a very busy roundabout so the traffic noise is loud and means you don’t really want to sit outside on the balcony - it feels very exposed.
Beds in the kids room are on wheels which are broken so they beds move around and aren’t flat. They were very uncomfortable.
Minimal kitchen ware - definitely not enough to cook a meal.
Poor communication with the host over a broken washing machine - this wasn’t properly fixed and a lot of my clothes were ruined as a result of being stuck inside the machine overnight
