it was value for money. quick get away to clear your mind.

The space was comfortable and the fan in room #4 was amazing. it blocked out the sounds and made sleep comfortable. the art work was exceptional. the view of the river and the sound of the river at night was amazing.

the sharing of the amenities was my only issue.... some guest didnt keep the shared space clean.

Quality stay with great outdoor space.

The property is much nicer than expected and seen in pictures. The river nearby is great addition to the surroundings!

Quiet place in the lush green mountains.

I highly recommend this property. You will thank me for the recommendation!

The property is tastefully decorated and peaceful. There are many sitting areas and the bed is super comfortable. In addition there is a full size kitchen available. This is the perfect spot to chill with the background sound of the river and crickets. Not sure it is the same owners as Mobay Kotch in Montego Bay but if it was I would not be surprised! Different set up but good vibes in both properties.

comfortable accommodation for a great value.

the terrace was really nice the rooms are nicely designed and styled sounds of the river below very relaxing friendly and helpful staff

there were some building materials on the path to the river and in the river from the building works being carried out. had to be careful with children not getting injured because of no railings on high steps or scrap metal pieces in the yard.

A Place to Unwind

As a regular returning guest at Gordon Town Kotch, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you are looking for an oasis of tranquility away from the bustle of Kingston then this is the place for you. The home is very clean and tidy, I always have a comfortable stay. Mishka and William go above and beyond to help you when they can and are very knowledgeable about Gordon Town and surrounding areas. The location is great; located off the tourist track, Gordon Town is a quieter town near Kingston. There are hikes and walks to do nearby, equally, is a great place if you want a few days to chill and relax.

Can be tricky to find on maps, but a shared location helps you get there.

Perfect home base and river retreat to explore the Kingston area

The guest house is located right beside Hope River, so you're basically surrounded by the soothing sounds of rushing water, which is something pretty special. It's a beautiful, quiet and relaxing space that's got everything you need. The hosts also definitely know how to make you feel right at home! Don't miss out on taking a walk up into the Blue Mountains, or up the river, which is right at your feet. This was the perfect home base. I stayed for a full week and still didn't get to see everything I would have liked in the Kingston area.

Nothing to complain about. Just know that to explore other parts of Kingston, you'll need to do a bit more travelling, since the location isn't central. It's the trade off for the peace and quiet offered here :).

Hikers Paradise

This hostel is one of the best that I have stayed in. A taste fully renovated building which feels like home, the facilities are modern and very clean. A well equipped kitchen and beautiful shower rooms. The hostel is conveniently located at the start of the Gordon Town to Redlight walking trail.

No sign on the build, we passed it a few times eventually having to ask a local.

The property is located in a beautiful area close to a river that gives you a sense of peace while sleeping, if you’re a country bumpkin, it’s a modern feel to city in the country, but giving you a much more feeling of country, the aromatic smells of nature, such as a bell plant near the river.

I love the built of the place it’s home away from home , I loved the door and the art work on the walls
