When my boyfriend and I booked this hotel, we had no idea it was a love hotel. It didn't matter to us, but it made sense that there were no kids or families and honestly we didn't run into a single person the whole week we stayed there. It was extremely quiet, peaceful, and I liked how they played light music in the lobby, elevator, hallways, etc. The room itself was nice! I liked the chandeliers and seating area. The windows really keep out ALL of the light from outside which we enjoyed.
Room cleaning was by request only. I really liked having a microwave and fridge in the room. The bed was really comfortable and we enjoyed our stay! This was my first time visiting Japan and I do not speak Japanese and I don't expect others to speak English. The staff did not speak English, but they used a translator and I used my phone. It did make communicating extremely limited, but the front desk ladies were still very nice and welcoming! The location was nice.
Super close to the train station. It is a quiet street with other love hotels. There is a 7-11 around the corner which was extremely convenient. A don quijote is about 7 min walk away.
You can definitely walk a few minutes and get to some lively streets and have a fun night!
Something we noticed was the beds not being cleaned to the full extent. On our first day, we noticed hair on the bed. It was more than a few strands and I couldn't help but wonder if they didn't clean other parts of the room. The bathroom sink did look a bit dirty as well, but what bothered us the most was hair on our bed. I did appreciate the cleaning staff taking our trash out, especially because we had a lot some days. However I wish the bed was cleaned better.
