It is very close to the Petra visitors centre and the staff are very nice. They couldn’t be more helpful. The inside info on how best to visit Petra and the pack lunch we much appreciated. In particular, the man who runs the Spa was great with my kids!

Petra was the ultimate highlight of my Jordan trip, and H Luxury Hotel perfectly complemented it.
After check-in, Mr. Rajah at the front desk reviewed my itinerary and made great improvements: combining Little Petra with Petra via the back entrance to avoid retracing the same path (Treasury to Monastery and back) and skip the 800-steps ascent to the Monastery, advising on Petra by Night tickets, and arranging taxis. Petra itself was amazing, and Mr. Rajah’s constructive tips further elevated my visit. The hotel’s hospitality was outstanding and made my stay truly memorable.
H Luxury Hotel is located about 500m from Petra Visitor Center and it’s a uphill walk to the hotel. Another hotel located much nearer to Petra has a similar rate but had no windows. Albeit a little further, H Luxury Hotel provided a balcony with splendid views of Petra town. The trade-off was worth it.
I would give 11/10 if I could.

The location was fantastic, only a 5 minute walk to the entrance to Petra, the area around Petra is very hilly so a 5 minute walk is amazing. The hotel was clean and very modern, we got a great view. Breakfast was good, lots of choices.

The room was very clean and spacy and the views was nice. The breakfast and the dinner were ok. Would love it if there were some more choices.
Our main issue was the front desk.
First of all they never mentioned that there is a free option of a free bus shuttle that takes you to the back entrance of the Petra’s path. They only mentioned a taxi option that is super overpriced (25 JOD) for a 5-10 minutes ride.
On the checkout we specifically asked if the luggage room was locked because we had valuable items in our luggage and they said “Yes”. When we returned to collect them the shift had changed and therefore we had never met them before. Our luggage was out in the open near the front desk desk. I just said that this luggage is mine and they said ok, I grabbed it and left with no more questions.
As of someone that works in the hospitality industry both of these actions are highly unprofessional.
