I recommend this Resort to everyone :) Nice staff, vibes, facilities... Thank you for the great stay, team! I would repear 100%, no doubt!
The taxi partner that the Hotel offers is extremely expensive, I can see they take a lot of profit with that.
Also, take into consideracion that if it rains... it looks like there are frogs in the appartments area and they make a lot of noise in the night!

Amazing location and view of the ocean. The facilities of the gym and pool were great! The rooms were clean, fresh and of great size. A very cozy balcony. The windows of our rooms were draped with climbing plants, which looked amazing and gave some privacy.
Apart from the gym and pool, which were great the two available saunas were disappointing. The steam sauna (square one) smelled unpleasantly and was heated by really warm steam pushed into the sauna from below the benches. Sitting in the wrong spot meant burning your legs.
The other sauna (classic Nordic, round) was surprising in a different way as we personally found out the sauna housing was not electrically wired correctly. I cannot claim to understand what went wrong but as we had one foot in the sauna and one without an electric shock, strong enough to make my legs shake, was sent through our bodies. Fortunately no real harm was done and the staff quickly recognized the issue and closed off the sauna from further use.

Room was clean, aircon worked fine.
The room is rather small, which is fine in and of itself. Maybe comparing to another hotel we stayed at in Koh Samui days before (more spacious with breakfast included), our feeling was that value for money was a bit of a factor.
In comparison, breakfast was not included here (although there is a cafe on the premises that serve a very good, paid-for breakfast), and there is a significant room size difference, yet price-wise we paid almost the same price per night here as compared to Koh Samui.
In all fairness, if the main attraction of Wild Wood is the beach fitness section, which we did not make use of (but usage of the facilities was included in the price), then perhaps one might have a different view.
In summary, a pleasant experience, perhaps our expectations were not aligned with the fitness aspect here, which seemed very popular for other travelers :)
