Everything — The property has all you could need, while there’s lots to do around the area we could quite easily have stayed put the whole time. Live music was wonderful addition, food was fab, views unbeatable, and hosts James and Chris were brilliant - Felt like home!

Very friendly hosts Chris and James run a comfortable, welcoming brewery with pleasant rooms, with terrace. The beer was excellent as was the food.

The property is situated in a truly beautiful spot, right next to the Dordogne River and conveniently close to town with shops, restaurants, and amenities. The accommodation itself was up to standard overall and offered good value for money, and the breakfast was enjoyable.
From the moment we arrived, we felt ever so slightly unwelcome. It was hard to put our finger on why, but it felt as though we didn't fit in with the other guests - it was clear that more effort was made with other visitors than with us.
This started at check-in, where no one offered to help carry any of our many bags down the stairs to our room, despite us mentioning we were exhausted after a 24-hour journey. Throughout our stay, simple requests were either ignored or immediately shut down with a patronising tone.
We arrived thoroughly looking forward to our stay, and while we enjoyed the location, we felt like we were treading on eggshells the entire time to avoid causing issues or receiving more condescension from the owners.
