The lady in the hotel who looked after us in the evening and at breakfast was brilliant. Could not have tried harder to make us feel welcome and happy.
As you arrive the hotel looks in desperate need of painting and replacing old equipment, like the over window sun shades which are tattered and green. Our block of rooms at the back was newer and well maintained.

Sadly I couldn’t stay in the accommodation, which I had booked only 2 hours earlier…it was closed when I arrived, it was open again the next morning and I got the chance to speak to the proprietor who ,I think (language barrier), told me he had informed Booking.com of his closure some weeks beforehand. I am aghast that Booking.com continued to make the reservation and absolutely appalled that their customer hindrance representatives left me stranded as a motorcyclist in a thunderstorm and refused to make a reservation for me at the next nearest accommodation on their site, ( which also was cheaper).
Im sorry I didn’t get to stay, my impression of the proprietor is that he is a very kind and generous host and I look forward to trying to stay another time.
