The location was perfect for being centrally positioned between Johannesburg, Midrand, Pretoria, the East Rand, and Sandton.
The property had spectacular views, and I really appreciated how close it was to East Rand Mall for quick shopping and dinners. Bedfordview also has some great restaurants, which made dining out very convenient.
The hosts, Mary and Clive, were absolutely top-class. Nothing was too much trouble, and they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and worry-free.
The apartment itself provided everything I needed and more. I even had the opportunity to do some laundry before heading home, which was a great convenience. The furniture and appliances were all excellent and clearly well maintained.
Key collection:
The process worked well, although it did require some coordination. The hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating throughout. Perhaps a lockbox could make collecting and returning the keys even easier, particularly for guests who aren't completely sure of their arrival time.
Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

The apartment was fresh, clean and easy to access other facilities and roads. The host met us on arrival and security was also friendly and kind.
In winter especially, it is important to have bedside mats. Also need to put out 2 sets of towels per room
Especially when rooms are shared🙏🏽 but that was also an oversight on my part, I could have asked before the host left.

During my recent stay at Orrie, I was completely enchanted by the experience. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a beautifully appointed interior that exuded both comfort and sophistication. The living space was open and airy, filled with natural light that poured in through large collapsible doors.
But the real highlight was the view. As I gazed out, I was treated to a breathtaking view of the city landscape, bathed in the warm hues of sunrise/sunset. Each morning, I would sip my coffee on the balcony, soaking in the serenity while listening to the gentle rustle of leaves and the distant sound of early morning traffic.
The rental was equipped with all the modern amenities, making it feel like a home away from home. Cozy furnishings and tasteful decorations added to the atmosphere, creating inviting spaces to relax and unwind after a day of working. Overall, the combination of exceptional views, elegant design, and a peaceful ambiance made this rental truly unforgettable.
While the unit had a charming exterior and lovely views, it fell short in several basic amenities. There was no shampoo or conditioner, and the absence of heaters made it uncomfortably cold at times. Instead of regular tea, only rooibos was available, and there was no milk or shower cap provided, which felt lacking for an Airbnb.
Additionally, I was disappointed to find no welcome waters in the fridge. The bed in the room near the entrance, adorned with a Prada picture, was particularly uncomfortable—rock hard and detrimental to a good night's sleep. After two nights, my body was sore, making it difficult to focus on my business commitments. Overall, the lack of essential comforts made my stay much more challenging than expected.
