Very nice location

The hotel has a magnificent exterior and looks very luxurious. The lobby and entrance area are beautiful and impressive, creating a wonderful first impression. The prayer area offers a beautiful view of the Kaaba, which is certainly one of the highlights of the hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and I particularly liked the interior design and the colours used throughout the hotel.

For a hotel that presents itself as being so luxurious, I had higher expectations regarding certain details—especially because I have experienced some of these things even in hotels that were less luxurious and less expensive. There was no traditional Arabian welcome. In many hotels, especially in Madinah, guests are welcomed with Arabic coffee or tea and dates, and sometimes even a rose. Unfortunately, we did not experience anything like this at any point during our stay. There was also no one available to assist us with our luggage upon arrival. Some basic amenities that I expected were missing from the room. There was no hairdryer in the bathroom, which was particularly inconvenient because I did not bring my own, assuming that a hotel of this standard would provide one. There were also no toothbrushes or other small amenities that are commonly provided in many hotels. Another disappointing issue was the iron, which was very dirty and ended up staining our clothes. There was no proper place to hang a face towel, so it had to be placed on the marble surface around the sink. The shower water was not hot enough and the water pressure was also quite weak. What concerned me most was the cleanliness of the room. During our stay, I realised that the room had apparently not been vacuumed at all. I even suspect that it may not have been properly cleaned before our arrival, as I found clumps of hair in the carpet that clearly did not belong to us. Another detail that was missing was an indication of the Qibla direction for guests who wish to pray in their rooms. These may seem like small details individually, but when someone chooses to spend more money on a hotel that is presented as luxurious, naturally, the expectations are higher. I believe that paying attention to these details would significantly improve the overall guest experience.
