The bothie is very clean and cosy loved the wood stove and it was overlooking a beautiful lough and mountains. Very peaceful no light pollution only the sounds of nature. Joanne was a super informative responsive host and kept us well stocked with firewood.
Nothing the cooking facilities were adequate but a microwave would certainly help when self catering.

It was a beautiful set up with magnificent views. The enormous bed was very comfortable and I very much enjoyed the wood burner stove.
The lighting was annoying, for someone who pees in the night, you really don’t want automatic illumination when you’re half asleep. No lamp option either.
Cold floor, wish I’d bought my slippers, even with the fire going.

location was in the middle of the island which allowed us to explore through the day and return in the evening, The views are breath taking and the silence is incredible allows you to hear any animal noises in the area.
this is a very minor point there could have been a small table inside the bothy for to sit and eat your meals as in this time of year there are midgies and the cooking facilities and tables are outside.
