The property is in an excellent location. It is very clean and comfortable with everything you need for a good stay. Rooms are large and nicely decorated.
The sofas are a bit uncomfortable and the lighting in the lounge is a little dim but these are really minor niggles and nothing that would stop us from staying again.

The location is excellent with walks on the doorstep and an easy walk down the monsall trail to Bakewell; the cottage is really cosy and comfortable; 2 pubs in walking distance both really lovely; lovely little village shop up the road.
We would have appreciated a starter bag of logs and kindling for the fire. We would have been happy to buy some once we were settled and knew where to get it from. The kitchen could do with an extractor fan, although you can open the door it would still help.

Lovely cottage in a pretty village, clean, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen
Outside steps very steep up to the garden and very slippy when wet, perhaps could do with jet washing, 4pm check in that we thought was a bit late as by the time you get in and unpack etc your first day is nearly over
