We loved staying here for 4 nights. It was a perfect place for us to visit various sporting events in Durham, Newcastle & Sunderland. The set up is perfect with top quality fixtures and fittings. The location was brilliant. We visited the Havelock Arms on the other side of the river which was great and we were able to go to the North Biddick Social club to play darts and pool which was fun. Didn’t get to try the Italian restaurant, but this looked nice too. Finally, the welcome pack, which included the standard tea, coffee etc was great as it also included crips & biscuits!
A couple of minor things to point out, but this is by no a criticism. The pop up waste to the basin constantly sticks. I manage a few holiday let flats and suggest changing this for a Swivel basin waste...I find these are these are guest proof :-). The other thing was ideally I'd like to have seen a lock on the bathroom door.

The house was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Fab location. Lovely quiet area. Garden was lovely with the river just accross the path from the bottom of the garden. We will definitely be staying again but for longer next time.
