I never write bad reviews because I’m a business owner, and I understand how detrimental a bad review can be for a business. Because of this, I always try to handle any concern I have by first approaching management. This is the first negative review I have written about a business in years. When I arrived at Bliss by the Sea, my room and the entire hallway where my room was located, smelled like marijuana. I realize this may not be bothersome to many people, but I was traveling with a friend who has very severe asthma. We weren’t even in the room five minutes, and she began having trouble breathing. I called the receptionist (because no one was physically on the property), and I asked them if we could be moved to a different room. I explained the situation to her, and she said there were no other rooms available. Within the few minutes I’d spent on the phone, my friend’s breathing became so bad that we had to go outside. I called the receptionist back and told her we needed to cancel our reservation. She informed me that she could cancel the reservation, but she could not refund my money. I asked to speak with a manager or owner, and she said no one would be available until the next day. I asked what time to call back the next day, and she said she didn’t know when they’d be available to speak with me. I asked if she could have someone in management call me, and she said I would have to call them. The receptionist reiterated that their policy would not allow a refund even though the room and hallway were filled with marijuana smoke. I’m now in the process of filing a complaint with Booking.com to try and receive a refund. Severe asthma is a life threatening condition that is protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act, and a hotel that does not follow or enforce its own non-smoking policy and then keeps the money from a customer who cannot breath in the room they’ve reserved is in clear violation of complying with the ADA.

Die Lage ist toll mit schöner Terrasse.

Es gibt keine besetzte Rezeption. Es steht ein PC-Bildschirm am Empfang. Über diesen kann mit einer Dame gesprochen werden, die auf den Philippinen sitzt. Soll das die Zukunft in der Hotellerie sein? Insgesamt wirkt das Haus spooky, da nur am Morgen eine Dame für das Frühstück vor Ort ist, ansonsten nur Videoüberwachung. Die Fenster wurden wohl seit Jahren nicht mehr geputzt. Insgesamt nicht zu empfehlen.

Third floor guess move furniture and was loud for one night. Did not sleep.

No Staff Broken glass on dock Rooms put together but not clean as reviews stated Arrived and waited 15 min to enter for someone to call/email/text us with entry code.

The location and view were great! The surrounding area and convenience to restaurants and beach. We were in the area to look for a vacation home. The breakfast buffet was ok, some real coffee creamer should be added. (Besides oat milk and almond milk) Beds were pretty comfortable.

The Inn needs Personalization. Inn staff were virtual-on a computer screen in lobby. Cleaning staff were present & kind. Not a cozy, inviting Inn. Our room was a bit small & cramped. Ice machine was very small/empty. No ice bucket, small tray or disposable cups in room.
