A fenomenal staff, the hostel is very clean and tidy. They are changing the decoration and it looks modern. Ideal for solo travelers and groups. It’s located in a lovely neighborhood away from tourism, more local and quiet. If you visit the famous lion head shrine located in the next street make sure to do it very early in the day when it’s quiet and respectful.

Really nice staff and location, it was clean, had an accessible lounge area on the first floor -- I felt comfortable and safe.

the host was warm and helpful.
bed is decent for 1-2night stay. apt if you are on a budget.
bathroom is on the same floor as the room but for bathing need to go down on the group floor. common area is well kept.
they have a fridge & kettle service too but it is common so your stuff may be used by others.
location is great. just walking distance from shinto shrine & 20mins from dontobori area.
PS- if you reach out to the host directly, they may give discount if you want to stay longer.
carrying luggage on the upper floors is a task so need to keep big luggage downstairs.
