A weekend visit to Detroit to see our daughter. House served us very well. We were able to walk to some of our destinations and also a short drive elsewhere. Nice off street parking and comfortable digs for hanging out. Very comfortable beds!

Our group of four friends found Aveline's Abode to be the perfect gathering spot for our reunion. The home is beautifully decorated and provided more than enough comfortable space for us to relax or come home to after a full day. We had one question during our stay and the manager was immediately responsive. We can't recommend highly enough!

Lovely restored home in the Corktown neighborhood in Detroit. Perfect space for our family of 4 (2 young adult daughters + my wife & I) with 2 comfortable king sized beds and 2 baths. Spacious, clean (!!), everything we needed. This was our first visit to Detroit and we were uncertain of the neighborhood. Our experience was great. Behind the house you’ll find $400k+ townhomes across from the off-street parking. The front of the house is on a family friendly street where we watched children and adults enjoy fireworks on July 4th. There is even a quaint pocket park diagonally across from the house. Yes, there are homes nearby that could use renovations but we would absolutely stay there again. This house is great if you are in town for sports (go Tigers!), visiting a child at one of the Detroit universities, or spending a weekend sampling Detroit style pizzas and coneys. Thank you to the host for making this house a part of our great Detroit experience.

The property was very clean and comfortable, with many nice modern touches in the kitchen and bathroom. We were initially concerned about the safety of the neighborhood before booking since there was little current information, but the owner was very reassuring and the neighborhood lived up to the owner’s representations as safe and quiet. We would stay again.
