Highly recommend! We stayed here for a wedding nearby and the room was so cosy. We loved the ensuite (with shower), a full size wardrobe and the gorgeous dressing table with stool. The staff were absolutely amazing, so friendly and ensured everything was perfect. The manager placed our key in a safe spot as we had been delayed travelling such a long way. The breakfast was fantastic. The places nearby had plenty to explore: from museums, beautiful parks and it’s such a lovely place to visit. We would definitely stay here again!

The staff were lovely and very helpful. I found the breakfast, tea and coffee very nice. Ample coffee, tea and milk in the room and more on request. There was lots of parking available.
I found the mattress in The Braxted room hard and struggled to sleep on it , but thats just my personal preference. Also being downstairs, you get the bass noise from the music in the pub, which I could hear, even through earplugs.
The pub stays open until 1am on Fri and Sat, so be prepared. The windows do open, but have an old style wooden frame, so theres no way to put them on lock, to let some air in..
