I liked the simplicity of the room snd the comfortable chair that could be moved to the window. Lovely cushions. Nice biscuits and a decent coffee machine. Great location for buses giving access to different sections of the King Charles III England Coast Path. I liked the fact they served food at lunchtime, all afternoon and on through evening.
NB. I did not request a quiet room so your Bonus question was irrelevant.
Coffee pods and biscuits could have been replaced. It would have been nice to be able to turn on the towel rail to dry towels.

Friday night was Elvis night. Excellent. Food was great as well as breakfast. I would stay here again.

The accommodation is well situated for the high street, with a large public car park just a few yards from the rear of the property. The pub is very attractively decorated with a pleasant courtyard area. Very pleasant staff.
The shower couldn't be turned off so was running through the night.
There was a heatwave when I visited so, though no fault of the hotel, the room was like a sauna. The fan provided was welcome but was so underpowered that it was useless.
The breakfast was fine apart from the vegetarian option sausages which were those horrible vegetable croquette things.
