Great hostel at a very convenient location. Comfortable beds, good facilities and friendly staff.

While otherwise quiet, the doors were still loud enough to disturb sleep a little. Bathrooms and showers could be a tad bigger.

I like the handsoap and room scent sticks they have. They also offer free coffee in the morning, but only from 9:30am because there is no staff before then. I like the staff though they’re very nice.

First, there is no shower in the same floor, you have to go out, take the elevator, go to 5th floor and shower. There is only 2 shower for women only and it only has a curtain to separate from the lounge area where everybody is sitting. It’s quite uncomfortable for a woman in my opinion. Second, you have to go to inside the sleeping cubes to turn on/off the lights. It is very inconvenient because when you go for a trip and you come home at night and the light in the room is dim, you have to go inside the cube and search for the switch to turn on the light. Also, you have to turn it off, before leaving and then put on your shoes, but if you forget something, you crawl back in the dark to turn on the light and crawl back again . It was easier when the light is just at the entrance of the bed. There is also only one power socket and one usb socket so you can only charge two devices at a time. At one point, the usb part stopped charging my device. Maybe it was too much? Third, there was no table or place to put your stuff in the sink. (They do have a big sink and if its dry, you can put your stuff there but if its wet, you cant put your make up bag) so if they only have like a piece of wood you can put on top to turn it into a small table so people can put on make up and skincare it would be more convenient. Fourth, there was no staff at night and the waiting area below is only open from 9:30-23:00. If you leave before then and go home late, crew you wont be able to ask for fresh towels or for stuff you need. I stayed here for 5 nights 6 days and chose this hostel because of the location. And location was superb, But if its not Snow festival I wouldnt pay for ¥12,000 a night here again.
