Die Unterkunft ist noch teilweise im Bau befindlich und das Internet ging nicht. Dafür ist die Lage direkt an den Dünen super. Auch das Frühstück war gut. Das Beste sind aber die Inhaber, ihre Informationen und Hilfsbereitschaft! Youssef hat mir viele Dinge erklärt und angeboten. Die Jeeptour mit seinem Bruder war grandios!!! Auch der Ausflug per Kamel und Übernachtung im Camp waren traumhaft. Man muss sich einfach drauf einlassen und "Take your time" wörtlich nehmen.

Value for money. Very clean and comfortable. 10/10 location! Friendly host who invited us for delicious homemade tea and breakfast in his house. We visited mid May and it’s really hot outside as well as inside. Night is hardly any relief.
Early morning, 10 mins walk to the dunes. Our 5 year old had so much fun! The host let us stay till our 4x4 desert camp pick up. However, we found a place to go swim our time away.
Although we had pre booked everything the host does organises rides, meals and camping too. Youssef speaks English, French, Italian German and a few other language so it’s very easy to communicate. He waited near the local post office and guided us to his house first then the night stay place. Very kind and lovely family.
Do visit them and learn more about not just the place but its people too.
Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Sehr sauber und komfortabel. 10/10 Lage! Freundlicher Gastgeber, der uns zu köstlichem hausgemachtem Tee und Frühstück in sein Haus einlud. Wir waren Mitte Mai dort und es ist sowohl draußen als auch drinnen sehr heiß. Nachts gibt es kaum Abwechslung.
Frühmorgens 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu den Dünen. Unser 5-Jähriger hatte so viel Spaß! Der Gastgeber ließ uns bleiben, bis wir unser 4x4-Wüstencamp abholen konnten. Wir fanden jedoch einen Ort, an dem wir unsere Zeit schwimmen konnten.
Obwohl wir alles im Voraus gebucht hatten, organisierte der Gastgeber auch Fahrten, Mahlzeiten und Camping. Youssef spricht Englisch, Französisch, Italienisch, Deutsch und einige andere Sprachen, sodass die Kommunikation sehr einfach ist. Er wartete in der Nähe des örtlichen Postamts und führte uns zuerst zu seinem Haus und dann zum Übernachtungsort. Sehr nette und liebenswerte Familie.

A fan at night would help us sleep better but unless you pay much more most places go natural here!

Riad Chorroq, located 3,6km from the tourist centre of Merzouga, gives overnight visitors a glimpse into the tranquility of life in a desert village. Although some of the structure is still work-in-progress, the bedrooms and bathrooms are very comfortable. In addition, Youssef and his family can prepare an excellent meal of your choice. Breakfast is included in the room price. It is an easy walk to the tourist centre past where the camels are fed and through the oasis. And a very pleasant walk to the nearby dunes which can be explored on foot. Youssef is a charming and attentive host.
