About this villa rental
Villa Luz is located in a quiet residential area, just 25 minutes from Barcelona, and very close to Mataró Park shopping centre and the regional hospital — an ideal location to combine a beach holiday with an urban getaway.
This modern design villa is very bright and offers fantastic views of the sea and pine forests, as well as spacious terraces and a private pool perfect for relaxing and enjoying the Mediterranean climate.
Distribution of the Villa
GROUND FLOOR
On the ground floor is the kitchen-diner with large windows that fill the space with natural light. From here, access is gained to a terrace with an outdoor dining table and barbecue, ideal for outdoor meals.
There is also a living room with a fireplace, TV and DVD player, as well as a courtesy toilet. The main bedroom with en-suite bathroom has direct access to the terrace.
LOWER FLOOR
On the floor below, three double bedrooms are located, all with access to the terrace and the pool area, as well as two full bathrooms.
UPPER FLOOR
On the upper floor, there is a space that functions as an office/bedroom with a double bed, access to another terrace and an en-suite bathroom, ideal as a private or additional relaxation area.
AMENITIES
Private swimming pool with spacious areas for relaxation.
Free WiFi throughout the property.
All bedrooms, as well as the living room, have air conditioning.
Private parking space within the property, with the possibility of additional street parking.
BEACHES AND ACTIVITIES
The beach of Mataró is located just 15 minutes by car, perfect for enjoying the sea during the day.
In addition, there is a nearby tennis club with a swimming pool and play area that can be used by paying an entrance fee.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
A set of bath towels is included per person.
Unfortunately, we do not accept groups of young people in this accommodation; the minimum age for guests is 28 years old.

The property is lovely however we were advised a couple of days before our arrival that the road outside would be resurfaced! This meant we had no vehicle access to the house and had to walk about 10 mins from a parking area to the house everytime we went out, the whole two weeks we were there was v noisy with workmen working up and down the road - which set off next doors v barky dog which was a shame as the property was lovely. It did ruin the holiday a little. Communication was excellent however when we had an issue with the electrics tripping. It did mean that we had no air con in the downstairs rooms for the last week but the owner is aware of the issue. Overall it is a beautiful property, stunning location (aside from the workmen). Definitely recommend as hopefully the next group that arrives won’t have to deal with the road and noise outside!

Very nice stay at the Villa Luz and great work by the agency. Beware that the road to access the villa and the parking are really really bad - and yes the neighbors have a barking dog and rightfully expect peace after 22.30 (not easy when your kids still want to play in the pool…) But, beautiful, full of light and with a soothing view villa. Good point is that all the facilites to do grocery, eat and shop are 5 minutes away. We loved our stay
