HOUSE RULES Please make sure that you go through the house rules prior to booking. • PETS: Pets (dogs/cats) are allowed for an extra pet fee of $75 per pet with a pet weight limit of 30lbs and up to 2 pets only. The unauthorized bringing of pets will have a penalty of $300 which will go towards the deep cleaning of the property. • CHECK-IN: Check-in time is after 4PM. Early check-in requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. • CHECK-OUT: Check-out time is before 10 AM. We do not allow late check-out as we schedule cleaning ahead of time. Any unauthorized late check-out will result in a charge of $50 for every 30 minutes. • SMOKING: We do not allow smoking inside the property or in outdoor spaces including the balcony, backyard, and terrace (if applicable). There is a smoking fine of $500. • NOISE: Please observe quiet hours after 9PM. Please be mindful of the neighbors as this property is situated in a quiet neighborhood. If the police are summoned due to noise complaints, this warrants a possible eviction with no refund. • DAMAGES & LOSS: We would truly appreciate it if you could treat our home like yours. You will be responsible for any damages or loss to the property which will be deducted from your security deposit. Please advise us of any damage or loss immediately upon discovery. • UNAUTHORIZED GUESTS: Please make sure to book the property for the correct number of guests. Parties, events, or any kind of gathering are prohibited. Given the COVID-19 situation, no other guests outside the reservation are allowed on the property. • PHOTOSHOOT/MUSIC VIDEOS: This property is for residential use only and not for commercial purposes without the written permission of the owner. Please contact us directly for booking of events. • LOST AND FOUND: Please note that all shipping is at the traveler's expense. There is a minimum $25 shipping cost plus a $50 service fee. We are not liable for any lost items. Our team will do our best to locate your lost items after check-out. • MAILS & PACKAGES: We do not allow any mail deliveries or packages during your stay. • PRE-CHECK IN FORM: Guests will be required to fill out a pre check-in form which will require additional documents to validate age and card used for the reservation prior to arrival. Guests booked through Airbnb are not required to fill out the pre-check-in form. • RENTAL AGREEMENT: Guests will be required to sign a rental agreement prior to arrival. • SECURITY DEPOSIT: Reservations made through Airbnb and Hopper are not required to place a security deposit. Reservations made through other channels (i.e. Direct Booking, VRBO, Booking, etc) is required a security deposit. • ADDITIONAL NOTES ABOUT THE HOME - Visits and Property Access: We will always notify in advanced should there be a need to access the homes and no one will ever enter without your approval. I don’t ever leave reviews, but I felt others should be warned. I booked through VRBO, but apparently hosts can now opt to invoice you outside the vrbo platform. So we assumed day of arrival everything was good to go, we had reached out on the 3 hour drive down to say we were on our way. We are 30 minutes from the house and decide to ask for check in instructions because it was 10 minutes till check in and hadn’t received anything. That’s when we were informed by the host our invoice wasn’t paid. We call vrbo checking for an error, they said no the host was in charge of invoicing. So one would think that the host that already knew that the invoice hadn’t been paid would have sent us an invoice. Nope. We had to ask him for it. He finally sends us one and it’s $200 more than the vrbo agreed price. We send him more messages, he finally fixed it and we paid. By now we are passed check in. So staying at the house was fine. 2 weeks go by and I notice that my $200 refundable deposit was never refunded. I had to once again reach out to the host asking for my money. Seriously this was ridiculous. Staying at a hotel would have been way less stressful and enjoyable.
