The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean and tastefully designed. The staff were exceptionally friendly and supportive. Ivy and Ann, in particular, took excellent care of me, regularly checked that I was all right and arranged a quiet room at another M Village location when the noise prevented me from sleeping.
The soundproofing was very poor. Because the property is located directly in a busy nightlife district, there was constant street and nightlife noise until around 2 or 3 a.m., followed by dogs barking throughout the night. As a light sleeper, I barely slept during my first three nights. I eventually had to move to another M Village location, where the room was quieter but a noticeable downgrade in quality, space and décor.
