It is about a 15-minute scooter ride from the city center, which makes it a very convenient distance while still allowing you to escape the noise and crowds. The shared kitchen is great for cooking and also serves as a nice space to socialize with other guests.
Onur is a very helpful host who responds quickly to messages, which made the stay smooth and stress-free. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.
It’s a great choice for travelers who are looking for a balance between convenience and a more relaxed, local experience.
There was noise from a nearby bnb which sometimes lasted until very late.

Great hospitality! Mr. Onur was a very kind and helpful host who assisted us in planning our vacation and was always available when we had questions. We really appreciated his warm welcome and quick responses. An extra bonus is the bathroom; it has great water pressure and consistent hot water, which is a rare find in the Philippines!
On the downside, the property is quite far from the center and difficult to locate as there is no signage. It is not walkable to the town or local amenities; you must walk about 5 minutes to the main road to find a tricycle, which costs around 300 PHP per way, or rent a scooter. The path to the accommodation is unlit at night, which can feel a bit intimidating due to the darkness and various stray animals roaming freely. Inside the room, the beds are semi-double rather than full doubles, making it tight for two people to share comfortably (in the two-bedroom unit, you may have to sleep separately). Additionally, while the air conditioning is effective, it is quite noisy, and we chose not to use the fan as it was very dusty. Lastly, as is common in the Philippines, guests should be comfortable with insects and small reptiles appearing both outside and occasionally inside the room.

Der Gastgeber ist sehr nett und hat uns persönlich begrüßt, das wichtigste zur Unterkunft erklärt und uns mit Tipps versorgt. Er war sehr gut per WhatsApp erreichbar und hat uns einen Roller organisiert sowie das Taxi zum Busbahnhof. Das Zimmer ist groß mit Kleiderschrank und Ablagefläche. Wifi hat gut funktioniert und der TV war top. Die Küche war ordentlich und es gab kostenfreies Trinkwasser.
Leider wirkt alles etwas vernachlässigt. Preis-Leistung stimmt hier (aktuell) nicht.
- Das Badezimmerfenster kann nicht geschlossen werden und auch die Fenster im Schlafbereich schließen nicht komplett ab, dadurch kommen Mücken rein.
- Der Duschkopf hält nicht richtig und der Duschvorhang ist super verschimmelt.
- Auf einem der Betten lagen immer wieder Holzspäne (wir glauben von einem Insekt in der Decke).
- Die Sitzgelegenheit im Garten entspricht nicht mehr den Fotos und auf der Terrasse gibt es keine weiteren Sitzmöbel.
- Allgemein fehlte der Gartenanlage etwas Liebe.
