Unit had pervasive smell of urine & mildew. Contacted owner & she sent over a cleaner but smell lingered. Very cluttered property. Bed is NOT a queen …. A small double at best. Walkway to get to unit overgrown … looks like the house has been abandoned.Unit rules say no pets but there’s a cat/dog bed, bowls & toys in the kitchen.

I would not stay here again. When we first arrived the cottage reeked of urine & mildew. Owner sent someone to clean it but still pervasive smell whole time. Review says no pets… but there was a dog/cat bed, bowls & toys in the kitchen. The bed is not queen size… at best is a small double. Place very cluttered. Property is unkept… including the walkway outside to get into unit. Broken fence, untrimmed vegetation, deteriorating steps & path. Visually, the worst house in the neighborhood… kind of looks abandoned. Only good things are the light from the windows, and the location.

About this cottage rental

A fully-equipped cozy private central Seattle city cottage with fireplace, secluded backyard with decks and unique world artisan decor. 5-minute drive to UW and 1/2 a block from short easy bus ride to downtown, Space Needle and Pike Place Market. 2 block walk to Wallingford great restaurants/bars, walking distance to Green Lake Park, Fremont, Lake Union, and the great Burke Gilman Trail for biking. 2 equipped city bikes provided.

Place was very spacious and comfortable. Location was great as well. Very walkable to some cool places, easy access to buses as well. Place was also nice and quiet.
