The view and overall harmony of hotel elements: staff, facilities, views. It looks like a rich resort both from the lake and from when on land. The team and owner are great and very cooperative, can advise on surrounding area and help arranging a bit more adventures. Due to business activities, our time was short but I would return to stay longer to enjoy it in full.
Tip: find the avocado tree!

Incredible and peaceful hotel. Yes the road is a bit difficult but take it slow and it's not that bad. Once there you will be treated to great food, excellent staff and a little slice of peace in Rwanda. It is expensive for Rwanda, but you do get what you pay for and in this case it is a large room in a beautiful setting and exceptional service. Great birdwatching, swimming and seeing Lake Kivu at its finest
The restaurant is close to the rooms and some guests don't understand their volume in the early morning. to be fair the hotel has put up a sign to try and negate this but this may always be a bit of an issue albeit very minor

We really enjoyed the warm welcome and the helpful staff who helped us organize all the activities. The territory is big, and you can play a lot of outdoor sports. Breakfast is great and the location - sitting by the lakeside - is stunning. They have a lot of mango trees and make delicious fresh juices. You can also go kayaking there as a very relaxing activity. Wooden cabin where we stayed was very cozy and nice.
