Tim went above and beyond and out of his way to make my stay wonderful and comfortable. He even helped me extend my trip by a few days because I was enjoying it so much. He was easy to get in touch with, responsive, and was a warm presence around the hotel making everyone feel part of the family.

The Gifford is WONDERFUL. We totally enjoyed our stay there. I would recommend this to anyone. Tim the manager was WONDERFUL. Housekeeping staff was EXCELLENT! All in all, we will rate this WONDERFUL PLACE A10 OUT10.

The location and the room
The ‘up all night’ NOISE ! There was a pianist / ‘singer’ cat-er-walling and screeching in the lobby ‘late into the night’. I went to bed (WITH EAR PLUGS) AT 12:00 and had great difficulty getting to / staying (in) sleep. It was still going at 1:00 ish. Apparently this is a ‘well known’ practice (unfortunately unbeknownst to me). It’s the single reason I will NEVER stay there again !
